Hogle Zoo with Dad

One Saturday Zach took Andrew and Abby to the Hogle Zoo with his parents and Todd and his kids.  They had so much fun!  I love when he gets to have one on one time with the kids.  He has been incredibly busy this semester with school and I know he cherishes opportunities like this.  

Happy Birthday to Abby Girl!!

On October 20th Abby turned 2!!  We celebrated by picking up Zach from BYU and going to eat at the Brick Oven.  Then we came home and did gave her her presents from us and from Bibby and Papa.  Abby got a new baby and a crib for her baby to sleep in.  She LOVED it.  She is very protective of her baby:)  I asked her what we should name her and she said "baby".  Duh mom:)  We love our Abby girl soooooo much.  She is so happy all the time and so sweet.  She is a talking machine.  She loves to sing and dance.  Today I put a dress on her and she said "mom is this my dancing dress?"  I said, "sure Abby!" and she said "could I dance?"  This is a typical conversation with Abby.  Whenever she asks anything she always uses the word "could" to start.  It is hilarious.  She loves to do whatever Andrew is doing, even putting on super hero costumes.  We are so happy to have our Abby girl:)

The Beautiful Canyon

We are so lucky and live less than ten minutes from one of the canyons here in Utah. It is so gorgeous to go up there, especially in the fall.  We went up a couple Sundays ago and played around one on of the little trails.  It's so fun to just let Abby and Andrew run around!

Quick Trip to AZ

A couple weeks ago we last minute decided to down to Arizona and visit Zach's two brothers Tyler and Blake and their families.  We lucked out and ditched the first batch of nasty weather here and went down to amazing weather there.  We had lots of fun!  Andrew and Abby were so happy to get to play with their cousins all weekend.  We wish we could see them more often!

I kind of think that Andrew and Paige look like twins in this picture...they seriously have the same face!

This place was called Rawhide.  We all went there one night.  It was this really cool "western town" they had created with a petting zoo, shows, train rides and yummy food.

We took all the kids to the Science Museum in Phoenix one day.  My kids loved it!  I wish we had something like that here in Utah!  Abby was particularly fascinated with all the balls:)

Abby and Paige. These two had a couple "moments"  but they also had some fun times together:)  They could possibly pass as twins too I am convinced.  That Hillstead gene is STRONG!

Fun with Friends

I feel like we have the best friends ever! Unfortunately I am not very good at taking pics when we are with friends, but I have caught a couple lately:)
