Andrew's Second Year of Bitty Basketball

Andrew did "Bitty Basketball" again this year at the local rec center.  He loves playing sports, which is so fun for us.  I couldn't believe how much better he was this year compared to last year.  You'll notice his Nikes...he calls them his "basketball shoes" and he thinks they are the coolest shoes in the world.  He will ONLY wear them to basketball.  The first practice he didn't have the shoes yet, so the next practice when he came with new shoes he would run as fast as he could on his toes and stare me down while he did it.  It was hilarious...like he thought he had magic shoes and they were making him faster.  Not sure why my pictures turned out so blurry that day, but I still wanted to document it for the memories:)

San Francisco

In January we took a quick trip to San Francisco to visit my sister Jenna and her husband Jake.  Wish we could have had more time to do more thing with them, but we had lots of fun nonetheless.

Let the Festivities Begin!

We were with Zach's family this year for Christmas in Utah.  His two brothers Blake and Tyler and their families came up from Arizona as well.  It is so much fun when everyone gets together.  One day a few of us went the the Olympic Oval for some ice skating.  Andrew loved it, and I couldn't believe how quickly he caught on.  Abby on the other hand was not loving it too much, which I was okay with because those ice skates were murdering my ankles!  Not my sport:)  All in all though it was a very fun time!

Zach's First Crossfit Competition: Fitness Elevated 2012

Zach started getting really into Crossfit about a year and half ago.  He is pretty much addicted now.  I started doing it a year after him and love it and can completely understand why he is addicted:)  He entered his first competition in Utah this year called Fitness Elevated.  He seriously did awesome!  It was so fun to watch him and cheer him on.  These pics were from the day before to qualify and get ranked.  More pics to come from the actual competition.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas...

To be honest, I am not a huge fan of the Christmas decoration I have these days, but I also don't feel like spending lots of money on that to switch it out.  Just took some pics to remember what our cute little home looked like at Christmas time. Buddy the Elf also made an appearance at our house this year.  He sure did the trick....in an instant Abby and Andrew would shape up if they were being naughty as soon as I reminded them that Buddy was watching them.  Sure wish Buddy could stay all year:)  They loved waking up in the morning to try and find him.

I decorated this little tree with all my little Czech ornaments.  I bought the colored eggs before I left my mission.  They are real egg shells and are so pretty and delicate.  I also became good friends with a lady named Vera while on my mission.  She was an older woman and was very talented with tatting, crocheting and knitting.  She attempted to teach me how to do these, a little hard when there is a bit of a language barrier:)  She made all the other ornaments on the tree as well as the embroidered table runner underneath.  I am grateful to have these from her to remind me of those times!

Thanksgiving

This past Thanksgiving my family came to Utah to celebrate with us since we wouldn't be heading to Georgia for Christmas this year.  We had Thanksgiving dinner at Aunt Kristie's house with my mom's side of the family that were in town.  Lots of yummy food as always:)  One night we went to Temple Square to see the Christmas lights since they had just been put up.  I love this tradition!

Andrew and Papa...best buddies:)

Cousin Goldie Girl

Abby loves her mismatching gloves.  Especially the "pink" ones.  Such a girly girl, always loving any accessories she can find.

Andrew's chubby face is killing me in this picture.

Girl Time

Last November I was able to take a little trip to San Diego for my good friend from college Erin's wedding.  It was such a fun little reunion to see my girls from the good 'ol days.  We had lots of fun together reminiscing and being silly:)  Wish we could all live closer.

Then there are my other wonderful friends from my neighborhood who I LOVE.  We all did a girls night to dinner and Breaking Dawn a few months ago when it came out.  I am so grateful for so many wonderful friends!!
