Moje Milovana Praha

As I said earlier, these pictures are definitely not coming in order. These are some of the pictures from the few days we had in Prague (Praha). It was definitely my favorite part of the trip. If you haven't been to Prague, you are missing out.

This tower was right outside of our hotel. It was reminding us of Harry Potter:)

Walking the streets towards the Old Square in Prague at night.

Andrew found some cool hats in one of the gift shops.

Andrew loves our "Abby girl". Too bad he thinks her name "Abigail" is really "Abby girl". HA!

Outside one of the restaurants we ate in. I was able to have my family taste some of the traditional Czech dishes I ate on my mission. They loved them, which made me happy!

Correction...just noticed from the above picture...this is not where we ate, but was a restaurant that our entire mission would eat at on Thanksgiving every year. There was a member in Prague who was American and very wealthy. He would rent out the restaurant for the whole mission and pay them to cook us an authentic American Thanksgiving dinner. It was so much fun.

Taking a train to my favorite castle: Karlstejn. Andrew was SOOOO excited to ride a train.

Walking up to Karlstejn. Believe it or not I LOST weight in Europe....and it was because every castle is on a mountain like this one!

Andrew did a little dance for us outside of the castle.

More pics of this to come, but wasn't on this cd.....these are the stairs where Tom Cruise runs up on the Charles Bridge in Mission Impossible. We all took turns reinacting the scene...more pics to come on that one:)

Europe 2010

Well, here goes the beginning of a LONG series of posts and pictures. I finally got all my pictures from Jenna, but they are kind of not very organized by order at the moment, so I am just going to randomly post. I feel like it will take forever for me to post chronologically.

This first batch of pictures are from Paris. We spent four days in Paris with my parents and Jake, Jenna and Goldie. We ate some amazing food. Seriously the best quiche and hot chocolate I have ever had in my entire life. I am salivating just thinking about it. We walked the Champs Elysee, went to Versaille, saw the Eiffel Tower, shopped, walked from our hotel to the Arc Di Triomphe, and went to the Louvre (no idea if I am spelling these things correctly). I really liked Paris. The architecture was so pretty. It was pretty expensive I will have to say though, but I am glad that I can say I have seen Paris now. We were a little freaked out being there with all the terrorist warnings, but we were okay. There seemed to be a lot of hightened security at the touristy spots. The day we left the country went on strike and they ran out of gas. Luckily we got out of there in time!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was really fun this year. Andrew was way more into it. He was Buzz Lightyear and Abby was a little lamb. Andrew pretty much says "to infinity and beyond" 800 thousand times a day, so he was loving being Buzz:) The weather was a little cold and rainy but we still had lots of fun!
