Family Time....YAY!

Well the summer is OFFICIALLY over for us (meaning Zach is done traveling for work for the next 8 months). I am VERY VERY VERY happy. That is an understatement. Just kidding...it really wasn't that bad, but we for sure had to adjust to it. I think we handled it well though:)

Since Zach has been home Andrew has been COMPLETELY obsessed with him. It is so cute. One day Zach went to the store and bought Andrew and himself matching Razor scooters. This is Andrew's absolute favorite thing to do. All the neighbor kids have them and he always wants to ride theirs. Well, not only does he have his own now, but his favorite buddy can go around and ride with him. Seriously sorry for bragging....but Andrew is UNBELIEVABLE at the scooter. I am so impressed with him. I can't believe a 1 1/2 year old can go that fast and be that in control. I need to put a video up. It is all he wants to do all day long.

I almost caught his "eyes". One day I will get it and put it on here.

I accidentally did the next two pictures in the wrong order....but it is basically pictures of me being manipulative. HA! I pretend I am sad sometimes and Andrew looks at me all concerned, and then he gives me hugs and kisses. I know I am bad.

Andrew and Dada having some "eggies". This is Andrew's favorite breakfast these days: cheesy scrambled eggs.

This past weekend our friend Ty Walseth came into town. We went to dinner with him and Todd and Natalie on Saturday night to Tepanyaki. I love that place. Below is Natalie and her cute little Samantha...aren't they pretty??

I am thinking I should not have posted this picture, but I am too lazy to delete it. We also had a BBQ last night (Sunday) at Todd and Natalie's house. Since they moved into their new house we are only 9 minutes away from each other and LOVING it. Here is my disclaimer: yes I am nasty. I am getting those nasty roots taken care of this week, and as for my body....it is hopeless at this point. 7 more weeks!

I just love her!

Andrew finding another thing he can "hang" on. He is seriously a monkey.

This is his latest favorite hat: my strainer.

The grillmaster Todd.

We love kisses:)

My Second Home these days: Mt. Timpanogas Hospital

Yes, that's right, we made yet another visit to the hospital last night. Here is the story: on Saturday night I went bowling with some friends (I guess that wasn't the smartest thing to do, but I seriously felt fine and didn't think it would hurt anything). I actually felt fine bowling...lifting the ball was not the problem. HOWEVER, as I was going to throw the ball down the lane for my last frame my right foot stepped on something sticky which made the rest of my body go flying forward stepping onto the waxy surface...and then I pretty much was like a flying whale down the lane. Just a little embarassing. Luckily, I did not fall on my stomach at all, and it didn't really seem to hurt, just shook me up a little.

As the night progressed I started getting SERIOUSLY sore and could like barely walk. That night when I went to sleep I couldn't even roll over because it was so painful. So, on Sunday afternoon Zach and I thought I should probably call Labor and Delivery and see if they thought I was just sore, or if something could be wrong. They told me to come in immediately.

So off to the hospital we went for the second time. I was lucky and my Dr. just happened to be there finishing off a delivery. He came in and talked to us for a bit. They put me on the monitors and everything and came to the conclusion that our baby is perfectly fine. However, I was once again contracting every 2-3 minutes. The weird thing was that I really wasn't feeling them at that time. I seriously don't know why I have such issues with contractions...it is so annoying! So we had to wait there for 40 minutes to see if they would stop themselves. By the end of that I could totally feel them, but they weren't too bad. Since they didn't stop on their own I had to have another shot of the Tributaline like last time. One shot was sufficient luckily, the contractions stopped and we were sent home.

Unfortunately my Dr. put me on bedrest for the next few days just to ensure that I won't start contracting again and my body can rest from the fall. I hate bed rest. I am so bored, and feel really helpless. It's hard for me to not do my dishes, or the regular things I do each day! But at least it is only for a couple days.

The GOOD NEWS: the little missy TURNED! I don't even think I mentioned before that she was breach, and I have been FREAKING out about it. So I had the Dr. check again since we were there and sure enough her head was down. Good girl:) Oh and I also forgot to mention that I bowled a freaking 180 that night. AMAZING!

Cool Guy

Andrew is pretty cool these days. He MUST wear a hat at all times and it MUST be backwards. Isn't that funny? He did that of his own free will one day and now is hooked. He also is into rolling his eyes at us lately. It is hilarious. I wish I could capture it on camera. He isn't doing to be a punk....he just waits when we aren't paying attention and then rolls his eyes as far to the corner as he can and waits for us to notice and then cracks up laughing. He is a funny boy!

I asked him to smile with his teeth for this picture. Cute!

For Ali

At the request of my sister-in-law Ali I am posting another belly shot. I just woke up from a three hour nap before I took this picture....don't judge. I am going to be 31 weeks on Thursday.....Let the countdown BEGIN!!!

Random thoughts by Katie

So, as you can tell, my blog is pretty freaking lame these days. I don't have much to say or show I guess. I just hang out with my little buddy Andrew every day and that is about it! But things are going really good. There are only two weeks left of Zach traveling for his job which makes me VERY VERY HAPPY!

But I have some random things I guess I could share:)

Item #1: Lately I am completely addicted to these:

yes my friends, those would be Eggo waffles. I cannot stop eating them, along with any sugary cereal I can find. I am disgusting.

Item #2: I also have been a busy bee....some more nesting. My aunt Susan has been coming over this week helping completely GUT every room of my house. I have thrown away so much and feel so much better about life! Now I can FINALLY start decorating Andrew's new room, so I can move him in and then decorate his old room for the new baby girl!

I just found this bedding at Pottery Barn and I am in love with it. Pretty sure I am going to order it as soon as I am done with this post for little Andrew.

What do you think? I like that it is very "boyish" but not cheesy. I struggle with all the boy bedding. Star Wars, cars, animals, camo.....yeah just not really into any of that. But I love this:)

I guess there are only two items. HA. Well, maybe I will have something more interesting to say on my next post, but this is all you will get for now!!

IS THIS A JOKE???????

Two nights ago I was sitting in the basement hearing one of our regular crazy winds blowing through Lehi as I was watching SYTYCD. It started getting pretty bad and I honestly was beginning to wonder if there was a freaking tornado outside my house. So, I went upstairs to check on Andrew thinking he HAS to be scared and crying from all the noise. I was right, he was freaking out in his room. Poor guy. So, I got him up and brought him downstairs with me. As I was passing through our entry way I felt like a bunch of dirt was blown in my eyes. I looked down and realized that MY ENTIRE HARD WOOD FLOOR AREA WAS COVERED IN DIRT. I wish you knew exactly how covered it was. So, long story short I have since then swept and mopped three times and I can still see the dirt. AH! That wind must have been pretty crazy to be able to blow this much crap through the cracks. Anyways, I had to document this because I still just cannot believe it!

Park with Dada

Last weekend when Zach was home we sent to a park. Andrew loves to go to the park. His latest "trick" is that he loves to hang off of bars. The weather was perfect...not too hot at all. I have figured out that dada=fun time for Andrew. The second he sees Zach he gets super hyper and excited. I think it is so cute!

Say Cheese!

Today I taught Andrew to smile with his teeth on demand and hold it for a picture. It is freaking hilarious. We played with photobooth tonight and tried to catch him in action for you. I still don't think I completely caught it....holding it for three solid seconds is a stretch!! Anyways, aren't these so cute!?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE MOST WONDERFUL BOY IN THE WORLD!!! I AM SO SO SO GLAD YOU WERE BORN! I LOVE YOU ZACH:)

Tonight was a good night. I got myself a little baby sitter and went up to Park City to hang out with some friends from college who were in town and having a bbq. It was so fun to see them, hang out, catch up, etc. Sometimes I can't believe the carefree days of college are over. I feel so lucky that I had the friends I did at BYU. I seriously can't even explain how much fun we had. Go cougs:)

p.s. please take special notice to what is on the tv screen in the background. I promise Top Gun was on, but we thought it was pretty funny that that is what happened to be on the screen right as we took the picture.

Lezlie, me and Mia:)

Andrew's Favorite Past-Time

Pretty much everyday you can count on Andrew saying this phrase at least fifty times..."i want da cuck!" translation: i want the truck. further translation: truck means scooter, or tricycle. just something with wheels. He is OBSESSED, as I am sure I have mentioned before, with riding toys outside. I went and bought him a little tricycle the other day and he has been in heaven. He doesn't quite understand the pedals yet, but just scooting himself on it is good enough for him! He also always says "I want da boom boom!" Boom boom means he wants to ride his "truck" over a bump and say "boom boom!". I just love that little mister.
