Two Months
I have heard of/seen other people do this where they take a picture of their baby each month with a little sign next to them showing how old they are...and I thought it was a good idea. I can't believe how much he has already changed in the way he looks. He wasn't the happiest when I took those pictures today:) But it is amazing how much they learn and grow in such a short period of time. He is cooing regularly now, very active, and smiles all the time. Andrew is so much fun! Officiall he is 9 weeks...will be ten on Saturday, so I am a little behind. Next thing I know it will be time for the 3 month picture!

I've been tagged and I am finally going to do it!
I think about five of my friends have "tagged" me in the past six months, but I always forget to do it, or I am just plain lazy. So...here's to Jenna and me finally doing it. Here I go..
If you were an animal, which would you be? I think I would be a baby bear because they always look so soft and cuddly.
If you were a city, which would you be? I would be Prague because it is the most beautiful city in the world and I am the most...haha just kidding...I would be Prague because I love love love it!
If you were a vegetable, which would you be? I am going to go with Jenna on this one and be a tomato. I know some people hate them, but I LOVE them. I eat them like an apple.
If you were a color, which would you be? I would hope that I would be yellow, since it is bright and makes people happy.
If you were a fruit, which would you be? I would be a mango because they are so different and delicious.
If you were a season, which would you be? That is a hard one because I love every season for different reasons, but I think I will have to go with summer. I love the summer. There is something about hot weather, and tanned skin that makes me so happy. I love the water sports you can enjoy in the summer as well. I love going to the beach. I love playing tennis on a summer night. Ahhh....is it still January???
If you were a shoe, which would you be? I would be a pair of fluffy slippers that are amazingly comfortable.
If you were a vehicle, which would you be? I would be a 4Runner. Sorry I am copying a few of Jenna's answers. We are a 4Runner family I should just say. Every female in my family has a 4Runner right now. Kind of funny. They are good looking, safe, decent gas mileage, and last for forever. Love Toyotas.
If you were an appliance, which would you be? I would be a hand mixer and make yummy shakes.
If you were a Disney character, which would you be? I would be Ursela so I could steal Ariel's pretty voice.
If you were a time of day, which would you be? I would be whatever time it is that day for me to GO TO SLEEP!!!
If you were a cereal, which would you be? I know this is sick, but I might have to be Fruity Pebbles. When I was prego I swear I could eat a whole box in one or two days. I love that cereal even though it has ZERO nutritional value.
If you were an instrument, which would you be? I would be a piano. That is the only instrument I play, and I love it.
Well, that was fun! I now tag the following four friends: McKell Allen, Sarah Larsen, Lezlie Wagner and Tori Bollard. Have fun!

What a good eater!

Today I took Andrew for his two month check up. I am not going to lie...I was really nervous for this doctor's appointment, because I knew he was going to have to get his shots. I was relieved though when we got there because I found out I actually have to take him to a different office to do the shots...so I have a few more days to dread it:) His check up went really well though. He is growing perfectly without any problems! He now weighs, at two months, 11 pounds 8 oz, and is 23 inches long! So, that means he has gained 4 lbs and grown 2.5 in since he was born. He is in the 50th percentile. I love that he is getting so chubby!

I love my husband!

We had such a fun night last night...I am so mad I forgot my camera. First, we went to the Skybox at the Gateway for a party for Zach's work. He works for Platinum Protection and this is his second year managing an office. Every year they have something they call "the draft". It is the night where each manager gets to choose the city they will go sell in this summer. I am so proud of Zach because he earned the number one spot in the draft and got first pick! This is kind of a big deal because to earn that number one spot you have to have the most recruits and most pre-season sales. Your past experience also helps you gain that spot. I was so proud last night that he was announced as the number one pick, because I have seen how hard he has worked for that spot. So.....we will be in Washington D.C. again this summer! We are excited!
After the part was over Zach had told me to pack an overnight bag because we were going to stay up at his parents' house that night in Salt Lake. But being the cute, thoughtful husband that he is, he had actually planned a special suprise! He had me "drive him to his car" after we left the part (I had met him down there). As we were driving there I said why did you park so far away? He replied saying that he had gone to dinner with his brother Todd and then Todd dropped him off at the Skybox. Then I asked, where did you go to dinner with Todd? He kind of smirked and said, "uh, Ruth Chris". I started cracking up laughing and I said, "oh really you went to Ruth Chris with Todd?" At that point he pulled into the Grand America hotel. I was so excited! I love that hotel. We stayed there the night before we left for Hawaii on our honeymoon. It was so fun to go back. I am so grateful for Zach and how sweet and thoughtful he is!

No more Mr. Smiles
Poor little Andrew will not stop crying today. I was telling my friend McKell that if it weren't for the fact that he is such a sweet baby, I would probably be about to break down. But he is so sweet, and normally never cries...that it just makes me so sad for him that he is so miserable today! I can't figure out why, but he is finally asleep now for his first nap of the day (it is 4:45 P.M. WOW). Has anyone read and used the book Babywise? Well, I have been trying to do it....with hopes of Andrew starting to sleep through the night. Not working. So if anyone has any tricks as to how they got that to happen quickly with their baby I AM ALL EARS! Yet again, when I hear him start to cry at 4 a.m. and want to cry I pick him up and just want to squeeze and kiss him and forget about the fact that he woke me up. I think I am turning into a pushover...it will be interesting when I try to discipline him one day. Of course, by then he probably will not be not so sweet all the time:)

Andrew's Baby Blessing
Last Sunday we had Andrew's baby blessing at church. It was a very happy day and I was so proud of both Andrew and Zach. Andrew did not cry at all (he is seriously such a good baby) and Zach did such an amazing job. We were very grateful to have our friends and family there to support us.

This is my family with us.

Boys will be boys....
Over the break Zach got together with his brothers, Dad and two brothers-in-law and they went snowmobiling. I think some of these pictures are hilarious, I can only imagine what exactly they were doing in some of these pictures.

I distinctly remember saying to Zach as he was leaving...will you please be safe and stay on the trail? Zach's response: See you later, love you! I think he avoided answering my question and this picture is evidence I would say:)

Andrew's First Photo Shoot
We took Andrew to get his pictures taken when he was two weeks old...but I am just now posting them. I am so glad we went and did this because they turned out so good, and I will always look at them and remember how precious he was when he was first born! I am so happy to be a mom and to have such a sweet baby.
