So Much to Blog About!!

So going back about two weeks ago...I must blog about Valentine's Day because it was a very unique one:) Zach came home at about 5 p.m. that day. I was upstairs changing Andrew's diaper and he comes upstairs, hands me an envelope, and with a smirk tells me that it was left on my car. I open the envelope and it says: YOU ARE NOW PART OF A VALENTINE'S DAY MASSACRE SCAVENGER HUNT. BE AT ZUPA'S AT 5:45 SHARP! USE THIS MONEY TO BUY A SALAD ONLY! So I just start laughing. Then I call Jenna to find out that she is also supposed to be at Zupa's at 5:45. Then I find out from Jenna that our friend Megan Niccoli is also supposed to be there along with her mother-in-law. So, our three husband's had planned this all together. So we all three go to Zupa's together. The whole time we are wondering what they have up their sleeves and what else we are going to do...but mostly WHAT ARE OUR HUSBANDS DOING RIGHT NOW??

Megan had a folder with the rest of our clues in it. So we eat our salads and then open the next envelope which we are not allowed to open until 6:45. The next clue says to go to Albertson's and buy ourselves each a posterboard. We are starting to get scared at this point what we are going to have to do with the posterboard. So we go and buy the posterboard.

Next clue: Go to Megan's house and cut out large hearts with our posterboard, string them so we can tie them around our neck and write one of the following four sentences on each of our hearts. Well, I can't remember what all the sentences were but they were like mean valentine rhymes basically. They were funny, but not too nice. So as we are making these we are laughing hysterically...and still SO SCARED about what we are going to do with them.

Next clue: Go to University Mall and wear your hearts around your neck. Get 50 signatures on each of our hearts. If people ask what we are doing, just say "It's for the love of the holiday". Ok, we are dying now. The whole way there we are scheming to see how we can get out of this. We decide to go to the food court because we will for sure not know anyone there.

I will admit, it was actually fun. I felt like I was in high school again. We were laughing so hard the whole time. After that we were sent over to the UVSC baseball fields to find another clue which led us home to a delicious dinner made by our husbands. It was so fun. I will say it was much better than just going out to dinner!
