I just finished reading the Kite Runner last week and I absolutely LOVED it! It is such a great story and I could not put it down. I've never been much of a reader, and it has actually been a goal of mine to read more and actually enjoy it since I graduated. This book made that easy! If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it.

Katie, I read the book too and loved it. I'm still pressuring Garrett to finish it so we can have intelligent conversations and debates about it. Maybe I should just forget him and talk to you! I'm glad you read it and are encouraging others to read it, but I'll be frank in saying it wasn't your walk-in-the-park read. It definitely stirred some very strong emotions. We'll have to talk about it sometime.
I enjoyed this book too...except for that one part...you know. I was never much of a reader either until I was home with a kid...it motivates me to read more.
How funny, I absolutely hated this book. It was just too sad for me, I couldn't handle it. I swear it made me depressed for a few days. Poor little kid. I'm still not over it. But there's another book, "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by the same author. I like it better. If you like Kite Runner, you'll really like it too!
