Chester, England

Well, it's been awhile since I last posted, and for good reason! We have been BUUUUUSSSSSYYYYY! We got back from being in Pennsylvania all summer at the end of September. Then the next weekend Zach and I went to Park City alone to celebrate his birthday! His birthday is in August, but for his gift I had booked us a weekend at our favorite place ever, the Stein Eriksen Lodge. We had so much fun. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures:(

In April my Dad started a new job in Manchester, England and in July my parents both officially moved over to England with the intention of being there for a year to a year and half. We decided to plan a trip to go visit them this fall. Yes, we are crazy and took our kids to Europe with us:) We had so much fun and were so happy to be able to spend so much time with them. They live in the cutest little town called Chester. I love it there. We spent the first two days in Chester (Jake, Jenna and Goldie were there and had been there a week before us). Then we all flew to Paris, and stayed in Paris for four days. From there Jake and Jenna went back home and we (us and my parents) rented a car and started our trek across Europe! We drove to Bern, Switzerland the first day. The next day we went to Neunschwanstein (the castle the Disney castle is patterned after in Germany--I am SURE I just spelled that horribly wrong). We continued on to Salzburg and the finally ended up in Prague where I served my mission. I was sooooo happy to be back in Prague, I can't even explain it. It was definitely the highlight of the trip for me. We stayed in Prague for three days and then flew back to Chester. Two days later we came home. SO, to say the trip was a little chaotic and exhausting at times is not an understatement, however it was WELL worth it and we had so much fun and made so many great memories. I only have a few pictures on my camera (long story which I will post about when I put up the rest of my pictures) and the rest are coming from Jenna's camera. So for now, here is what I have!

Little Miss Abby at a restaurant in Chester

Looking down from the balcony we were eating lunch on in Chester into the downtown area. So cute!

Goldie Girl:)

We found a balloon man on the street and Andrew got a hat:)

I bet I have a million pictures that look like this from our whole trip. Classic Abby, so bundled you can hardly see her face and just sleeping all the time in the stroller. She was a trooper!

Abby turned one while we were in Europe so we had a little birthday celebration for her at my parents' house before we left for the rest of our trip in Europe.

Opening her present from Bibby and Poppa. They gave her an adorable new outfit from our new favorite store in England (Joules) and a little stuffed bunny.

Abby likes her clothes-ha!

New bunny

That's all for now, but don't worry there are LOTSSSSSSS of pictures coming soon!

It's so nice to have you back. Thank you for posting so much new. It is now 2:06 am and I am awake - like awake - with crazy legs and a mind that wont turn off thinking about having this baby tomorrow night potentially. I appreciated being able to see new pics and read about what's been going on in your life. We sure love you guys!
