To be honest, I am not a huge fan of the Christmas decoration I have these days, but I also don't feel like spending lots of money on that to switch it out. Just took some pics to remember what our cute little home looked like at Christmas time. Buddy the Elf also made an appearance at our house this year. He sure did the trick....in an instant Abby and Andrew would shape up if they were being naughty as soon as I reminded them that Buddy was watching them. Sure wish Buddy could stay all year:) They loved waking up in the morning to try and find him.

| I decorated this little tree with all my little Czech ornaments. I bought the colored eggs before I left my mission. They are real egg shells and are so pretty and delicate. I also became good friends with a lady named Vera while on my mission. She was an older woman and was very talented with tatting, crocheting and knitting. She attempted to teach me how to do these, a little hard when there is a bit of a language barrier:) She made all the other ornaments on the tree as well as the embroidered table runner underneath. I am grateful to have these from her to remind me of those times! |
