Carribbean Cruise 2012

In March we went on a cruise with Zach's parents, siblings and their spouses to the Carribbean to celebrate Steve and Shauna's 40th wedding anniversary.  It was so fun!  It was a whole new experience to be able to all hang out together without kids hanging on us and interrupting us every five minutes!!  We left from Ft. Lauderdale, FL and went to two stops:  Cozumel and Grand Cayman.  We sailed on Royal Carribbean, which is the best cruise line we have been on thus far for sure.  Their food was DELISH!  We had perfect weather....really the whole trip was perfect!

Me in our room getting ready to go to the pool for the first time!

Me and the sister-in-laws catching some rays on the pool deck.  Anne, Natalie, me and Ali.

Our waiters for the week!

When we went to Cozumel we rented scooters and rode around the island and found our own little perfect beach to set up shop for the day.  The restaurant on the beach there just kept bringing pina coladas and delicious mexican food all day long.  My idea of heaven!
Grand Cayman we found a little guide who took a group of us on his boat out to an area called Sting Ray City.  It was the craziest thing!  In the complete middle of the ocean....couldn't see anything for miles....was a shallow area where the water came to about our shins.  There were probably 30 sting ray just hanging out that would let you hold them and touch them.  Typical me was just fine staying in the back of the boat and watching:)  Zach made friends with the sting rays.  He also took us to an area to snorkel.  I was feeling a little sea sick so I stayed on the boat...which was surprisingly more tolerable than being in the water since it was kind of choppy.  It was a fun day though...Grand Cayman is beautiful!
