First of all I must apologize to some of my friends for not answering my phone AT ALL lately, and then for never calling anyone back! We have been busy! On Sunday Zach, Andrew and I flew to Utah for what was supposed to be a "day" trip. We are in the process of buying a town home in Lehi and needed to be there to pick out everything since they aren't built yet. If you want to see what they look like go to this website

and then click on the virtual tour of the Harvard model. Sorry I am not very blog savvy and have no idea how to just make a link for you to click:) Anyways, so last Friday before we left Zach woke up in the middle of the night with a HORRIBLE toothache. He worked all day Saturday completely drugged on my left over painkillers from post-pregnancy. I felt so bad for him. So we went to Utah on Sunday and it just kept getting worse. We decided it would be smart for him to just miss one day of work and go see his cousin in Salt Lake who is a dentist. GOOD THING WE DID! Zach found out that he had an abscessed tooth that was SEVERELY infected. If we would have let it go it honestly could have gotten in his bloodstream and been fatal. So his cousin drilled into the crown and cleaned out the infection which was in a root canal he had years ago. So Johnny, his cousin, called us yesterday to warn Zach that if the swelling started affecting his breathing we should call 9-1-1. I COULD NOT sleep because I was scared the whole night. We woke up this morning to his face even more swollen and all down his neck (I have pics, but I better ask permission before posting them:) He keeps calling himself the elephant man). We went to the ER and they gave him an IV with antibiotic to kill the infection faster and then sent us to a dentist where they drained the swelling. SO...long story short my poor husband is in so much pain, and has a swollen face, and on doctor's orders is not allowed to work until Saturday at the earliest, which I know is KILLING him. Now you know why I have not been returning phone calls!
On to something more positive...I think it is hilarious that I have seen this on almost every single one of my friend's blogs even though none of them know each other. The blogging world is quite small. I will jump on the bandwagon...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

POOR ZACH! I bet that hurts so bad. There is NOTHING worse than pain on your head... ANYWHERE... but especially tooth aches and ones that bad... GOOD NIGHT! It was fun getting to see you even for a little bit, and I/ we can't wait for you to be our neighbors and we will see eachother a lot more frequently. Your home is going to be beautiful! Tell Zach we wish him a quick recovery...
wow. sounds like a horrible saga! glad things seem better now! are you back in DC yet?? Ali
Well. Apparently nobody around here understands what is going on. Anyway so of course I will always think of things like... your sneaky hand ahhahaha at Famous Dave's or when you put the stroller in the back and it bonked you in the head or even last time when we were in Nordstroms and you all the sudden got gay face at me for no particular reason and I was so confused...and then I had gay face. hahha BUT I will always love when we were all barely getting to know each other and you were driving us to the movie theatre to see the new Narnia and you were so stressed out because Zach's phone died, everyone was following you and... the exit on the paper was not the exit in real life (do you remember?) and you were like..... "OH Hell" hahahahah and I was laughing so hard and I felt bad cause you were freaking out but it made me so happy. Anyway thankYOU for being so much fun, and yes... I'm so happy I found someone who makes the same gay face. finally!
oh my gosh I almost forgot. Tell Zach that he has been in our prayers! We feel SO bad. I bet it IS killing him that he can't be out there but maybe it will be a good time for your little family to be together.
I'm so sorry about Zach! Not fun at all!!! Hope he gets better soon.
Of course, the first thing that comes to my mind is the first time we met. We were with Andy, McKay and I cannot for the life of me remember the other guy's name. We went to that one place up Provo Canyon where there is a rope swing into a little stream. Haha. Those guys were so dorky. I also remember the Big "A" Show concert we went to in SLC. There was one time we crammed a bunch of people (including your crush Garret)into my truck. I can't remember where we were going though...maybe to a Haunted House? Ahhh good times. The thing I will remember most though is your strong testimony and how you wanted to be the best person you possibly could be. You were such a strong and good example to me. It's crazy that it has almost been 8 years since our Freshman year! Man we're getting old!
well i remember the first time i met you at arlington with walker and you were like you have to meet my sister jenna (thanks for that!).. and then there were the AMAZING partys yall there, my favorite the frat/sorioty party and we were the pledges... and then living together and making awesome mixes and us both being engaged and planning our weddings.. and making fortune cookies for valientines day last year.. and remember when we went into the pg villa model condo and we were like this place is too small and now i live there! crazy! i can't wait to see your new house!! the harvard is awesome!.. i hope zach is feeling better too!
I can't believe you almost became a widow due to a toothache... that would have been a real awkward story:)
The house looks amazing, how fun to have something of your own. And do you seriously want to do the race next year- if so, you totally are in. Are you guys going to be here for the summer?
Come home por favor...
Wow- that is so scary about Zach. So glad you guys where smart enought to see a DR. ASAP!
So about the memory... obviously the funniest memory that pops into my head is when I conned cousin Bob into thinking I was an experienced stick driver and you, Nat, and myself stalled in every intersection on the way to University Mall(and were busted by my Uncle Lance!) oh, the things desperate, carless freshmen will do to get to the mall!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!!!
Gosh, let me think...I remember walking to school up that long hill or up the halls of death...I remember many many hot tub nights at the Aves....I remember going to Albertsons one night and buying facial scrubs and Martinelli's and having a girls night...I remember driving to Az with you and carrying you on my back and then didn't you pee your pants? I'm laughing so hard right now...I remember driving around in your green Camry rocking out to the latest hip hop song we were obsessed with...I remember hip hop classes with MONEY!...I remember your wedding and how gorgeous and happy you looked and I remember seeing you after you had Andrew and how gorgeous and happy you looked! And oh, so much more! The end.
Yeah! That is so fun you guys are moving south! We will be so close! When will it be ready? We haven't moved yet, but hopefully it will happen soon : ) we need to do playdates when you get back!
Also, sorry to hear about poor Zach. That is so awful! Jer would be going crazy also... poor you! : ) Hope he gets feeling better soon!
I loved sitting w/ you guys at the Christmas Party up at Sundance. Your such a great couple.
