HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Last night to celebrate we had our own little party with Zach's brothers Blake and Tyler and their wives Anne and Ali. Pretty much we played Rockband all night, Ticket to Ride (a new game we are kind of obsessed with) and drank Martinelli's while making fun of ourselves for how lame our New Year's may seem to the rest of the world. Whatever we had so much fun. Zach bought firecrackers from Walmart . We ate till we were all sick. Great way to end 2008 and welcome 2009.

We found our new favorite trick at the grocery store!!! WOOHOO no more rushing...the boy is OCC-U-PIED!!

Christmas in Georgia

This year we went to Georgia to be with my parents for Christmas. We were there for a week. It was so much fun, but went way too fast. Here are some pics of what we did....unfortunately I uploaded them in the wrong order and am too lazy to change them since I am on a posting marathon right now. SO just go with it:)

Here is Andrew about to go crazy after the longest traveling day I have ever experienced. I can't even BELIEVE how good he was. It was a total miracle.

One of my favorite things to do in Georgia is sit on my parent's back porch. There are only woods behind them and it is so peaceful. Plus, it was nice to sit outside without a coat on and not be cold! Here is Andrew with Grandpa. He was tickling his foot with feather.

Jenna and I played with Andrew out on the grass for a little while and took some pics.

This picture seriously melts me.

For some reason Andrew was fascinated with walking ON TOP of all of the wrapped presents. He must have liked the crinkling of the paper or something. It was pretty funny.

My mom and dad gave me the cutest teapot with little cups. I am a sucker for tea.

Yay I finally gave my mom her quilt! See post below if you don't know what I am talking about.

Christmas is so fun with a little one. He doesn't completely get it yet, but at least he helps open presents and gets excited for his toys.

My parents with their "big" present from all of us.

Scoping everything out.

There is a catwalk in my parents' house and Andrew thought it was pretty cool when we looked at each other from up high.

One night we all went to an Atlanta Hawks game. Here are the sistas!

We used the binoculars the whole night......to look for famous people. We are so weird.

Welcome Samantha Jane!!

Todd and Natalie welcomed sweet little Samantha Jane into the world a couple weeks ago (I am a loser and I think it was December 14th but I am afraid I am saying the wrong date...so we'll say a couple weeks ago). She is so precious! We are so happy for them and that she is healthy. We love her already!

Not sure why I can't rotate this one. Sorry.

My very first quilt

I've been trying to develop some "hobbies" lately seeing as how sometimes I have some downtime when Andrew is sleeping. I decided to make my mom and my mother-in-law quilts for Christmas. Now that I have given them their quilts I can show you! I had so much fun making these. This is the one I made my mom. Pictures to come of the one for my mother-in-law.

Old friends are the best...

The second weekend in December one of my very best friends Jessica came to visit for the weekend. It was so much fun for her to be able to see where I have been living the last EIGHT years. So weird. Anyways, we did some Christmas shopping, saw a movie, went to Sundance and pretty much just hung out. I wish we lived closer, we would for sure hang out all the time. Most of all I realized some things seriously never change...and even though we have been friends since 8th grade and don't get to see each other very often (she lives in Boston) when we do it's just like yesterday!

Auntie Jess feeding Drew some yummy food. He's a good eater...look at his cheeks:)

Drew and Mommy watching some tv.

Walking around at Sundance. It was FREEZING. Andrew was being crazy and we couldn't stop laughing at him. He looks like Ralphie.

I absolutely love this picture.

ATTEMPTING to get a family picture....a little difficult since we seriously have the wiggliest kid in the world.

Drew with his Puppy that Jessica's mom Shelly gave him. Thank you Shelly! Drew sleeps with him every night!!

Christmas shopping at the Gateway.

Matt Clayton Photography

First of all let me say I am again VERY behind on my blogging. Lots of posts are coming as soon as this week is over. In November we all had our pictures taken to give my parents for Christmas. Our photographer Matt Clayton did not post them on his website so no one would "accidentally" see their present. They turned out really good, but some of them make me feel a little silly seeing as how we are basically pretending to be JCrew models. HA. They are posted now...if you would like to see them click here.
