I love my husband!

We had such a fun night last night...I am so mad I forgot my camera. First, we went to the Skybox at the Gateway for a party for Zach's work. He works for Platinum Protection and this is his second year managing an office. Every year they have something they call "the draft". It is the night where each manager gets to choose the city they will go sell in this summer. I am so proud of Zach because he earned the number one spot in the draft and got first pick! This is kind of a big deal because to earn that number one spot you have to have the most recruits and most pre-season sales. Your past experience also helps you gain that spot. I was so proud last night that he was announced as the number one pick, because I have seen how hard he has worked for that spot. So.....we will be in Washington D.C. again this summer! We are excited!
After the part was over Zach had told me to pack an overnight bag because we were going to stay up at his parents' house that night in Salt Lake. But being the cute, thoughtful husband that he is, he had actually planned a special suprise! He had me "drive him to his car" after we left the part (I had met him down there). As we were driving there I said why did you park so far away? He replied saying that he had gone to dinner with his brother Todd and then Todd dropped him off at the Skybox. Then I asked, where did you go to dinner with Todd? He kind of smirked and said, "uh, Ruth Chris". I started cracking up laughing and I said, "oh really you went to Ruth Chris with Todd?" At that point he pulled into the Grand America hotel. I was so excited! I love that hotel. We stayed there the night before we left for Hawaii on our honeymoon. It was so fun to go back. I am so grateful for Zach and how sweet and thoughtful he is!

oh my gosh! ryan did the same thing on our 3rd anniversary...it was a couple months after I had tyler. I thought we were going to dinner at benihana but then he took me to the grand america (when we stayed on our wedding night!) my parents ended up tending my kids which was a good thing cause he forgot my breast pump and my dad had to bring my baby down for me to nurse in the morning before the sunday morning buffet! I'm so happy for you because I remember how much fun it was! just like a second mini honeymoon! awesome husband must think alike!
